This is a very special painting for a very special couple. A good friend of mine, who is always supporting my works, got engaged recently. The rest of my friends decided they wanted to give them a meaningful gift they could enjoy for the rest of their lives. With that idea, they asked me if I could make a painting of a landscape which represents an important moment in the life of the future married couple, as the present from all of us. I thought it was beautiful, not just the image itself, but the idea of giving a painting as a present, and the fact that they wanted me to do it. I agreed, of course, despite the close deadline ;) I enjoyed very much doing it, and it was great seeing how much they loved it and that it is now part of their new home and their new life together.
