About me

At Museo Sorolla

My name is Marta Galindo. I am a physicist and an artist.

I was born in Spain and I am currently living in Melbourne, Australia, where I work as an Acoustic Consultant. At the same time I am developing my career as an artist.

I am specialized in oil and acrylic seascapes, and also charcoal drawings, although I love exploring new things.

My artistic philosophy is to capture and transmit the intrinsic serenity and peacefulness of natural seascapes.

“It is good to love many things, for therein lies the true strength, and whosoever loves much performs much, and can accomplish much, and what is done in love is well done” (Vincent van Gogh).
